NRI PHYSICIAN AND GUIDING LIGHT TO THOSE IN NEED

Dr.Ramesh Nath Lingutla has always been a true leader leading by example, patience and perseverance. Versatility is his forte, and it was demonstrated on many occasions both in his medical practice and service activities. His many dimensions include those of a social activist, revolutionary leader, eminent physician and humanitarian-par-excellence.

HELPING VISWACHEYUTHA BLIND WELFARE SOCIETY

A true gentleman with a golden heart, he has never forgotten his roots and, on every chance and occasion, has tried his best to give back through various means, be it to the medical college he studied or the village he grew up in.

In 2015, the Reach Global Foundation was created by him to give a more formal dimension to his philanthropic activities. As the Chairman of the same, he has been part of powerfully transformative initiatives in many areas including but not limited to rural welfare; assistance to orphanages, homes for the destitute, individuals with special needs (physical, mental or both); flood relief; educational initiatives etc. His continued contributions and leadership through various awareness drives, support to NGOs, food and relief distribution during the 2021 Tirupathi floods and the Corona pandemic periods (2019-2022) are especially praiseworthy.

The Viswacheyutha Blind Welfare Home was established in 2011 to provide the visually challenged with a shelter home and help them achieve self-reliance and independence. On the occasion of Riaan Lingutla’s (Dr. Ramesh Nath Lingutla’s grandson) birthday, Dr. Ramesh Nath Lingutla provided the inmates of Viswacheyutha Blind Welfare Home with computer tables and arranged for a sumptuous meal. Additionally, each inmate was provided with two sets of new clothing.

Dr. Ramesh Nath Lingutla has won appreciation from numerous quarters over the years and invited to address many gatherings and events. Yet, he likes to stay focused on his work and avoids the public glare. His vision is that goodness and helping tendency should be in the forefront, rather than an individual, and this is the driving force behind his REACH global foundation, which has the motto “Service as a way of life”. It was an occasional case of a public appearance for a charitable endeavour, considering the birthday of his grandson Riaan that he came over to the Viswacheyutha Blind Welfare Home with his family.

He motivated the inmates with his speech, blessings and gentle guidance. Vision is a gift, no doubt, but the vision of inner zeal to achieve and reach for the skies, contribute to society and uplift humanity is much more powerful than just the normal human vision. Dr. Ramesh Nath Lingutla stressed this, and he thus inspired the inmates of the home to chase their dreams. With a deep inner vision and a sense of gratitude, the world can be appreciated much more beautifully than even those with physical eyes who lack empathy and good character.

His words and gifts were well-received by the inmates and the welfare home, and it gave a deep sense of satisfaction to Dr. Ramesh Nath Lingutla in having touched their lives positively. Local newspapers also covered the event and appreciated his philanthropy. Dr. Ramesh Nath Lingutla, whether in his personal capacity or as the Chairman of the REACH global foundation, remains a friend, guide and light to all and continues to be steadfast in his motto of service mindedness and humanitarian approach.
